Early spring can bring sun one minute followed by ice showers the next. This photograph was taken in rural Lancashire on the way home from Morecambe being closely followed by the ice shower….Love how the light was enhancing the ice laden clouds.
Mesnes Park in the heritage district of Wigan is a beautiful public garden close to the town centre.
It was a sunny day in April so I thought that I would dig out my converted digital camera (Nikon D70) from last year and give it a go. This photograph is of the historic bandstand, I tried to include the wee cyclist in the gap to add a bit of interest.
I spotted this Graveyard Cross among an overgrown forgotten corner of a Manchester graveyard. I think there are some good photographs if not spooky photography to be taken in some of these cemeteries.
After weeks of rain the sun made a welcome entrance and for a few minutes it uplifted my soul, maybe spring was not so far away after all…Photograph taken of a church reflected in the flooded fields of the Fylde in Lancashire.
