Historical “Owd Betts” is a very interesting  local old Public House on Ashworth Moor in Lancashire. Old Betty died at the age of 93 and the pub’s name was later changed to “Owd Betts” in the 1950’s.

This photograph is taken at the best time of year to visit when the bracken and the moorland is in full autumn colour. After a bracing walk around the moor a visit for a spot of lunch is always most welcome (with a chair by the fire).
