The photographs show the History of Manchester’s Oldest Landmarks, the Historical Industrial Buildings we are loosing and also the regeneration of new modern buildings creating new urban landscapes.

Hulme Church

St George’s Church Hulme closed in 1983 but had for 160 year been the local Parish Church for many Hulme Residents including my own Grandmother.

Today the Church remains a popular landmark on the river Irwell that welcome visitor to the start of Deansgate and Manchester City Centre.
