When I first visited Grant’s tower in Ramsbottom in was an overgrown ruin which was difficult to access. Very Happy on this recent visit with my infrared camera to see it is being rebuilt stone by stone which was very welcome news to me.

Peel Tower, always a good destination to get the heart racing with it’s steep incline. If you have a camera you have a sneaky excuse for stopping half way to “admire the view” and catching your breath. This was my view on the way down, I was waiting to see the evening lights come on but instead walked down to a golden sunset.
